Community Living Nativity
Community Living Nativity
It is with great pleasure to share news of a community wide event benefitting the Franklin and Southampton County area and beyond. The objective is for churches and civic groups to come together to bring the story of Christmas to life.

Christian based scenes will be in place for three nights in December along the historic Barrett’s Landing boardwalk.

While “reaching out beyond the pews” of churches and spreading the Christmas story to those not necessarily exposed to it, a living nativity will give several different groups the opportunity to come together to depict the Christmas story. There will be the need for volunteers to assist in  several areas - logistics, promotions, set up…the list goes on to include individuals portraying Biblical characters.

If your organization would like to participate in this inaugural event, you should contact Kay Drumheller at kayjdrumheller@gmail.com. In order to have adequate preparation, please let the Franklin Baptist Church know by October 15, 2019 if your organization would like to participate in any way. Feel free to direct any specific questions to either Kay or contact billie@villageatwoodsedge.com.

The attached informational sheet will assist event planners in assigning duties. Specific scene requests will be assigned as first received.

There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 17 at 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall of Franklin Baptist Church.

Thank you for your consideration. This event is certain to bless those attending as well as the organizations bringing the birth of Christ to life.

Sincerely,

Billie Turner
