The Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE), administered by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, is an alliance of chamber executives representing large and small chambers of commerce from localities throughout the state. The Association also provides a forum and partnership for integrating the work of local chambers of commerce in order to contribute to the growth and development of their local communities and the commonwealth.
FSA Chamber Executive Director, Teresa Beale completed her one year term as President of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Professionals. She passed the gavel to Christine Kennedy, CEO & Executive VP, Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance during the VACCE Annual Meeting held last week (June 23, 2016) in Smithfield.
2015/2016 VACCE programs included CEO Roundtable meetings to discuss top challenges facing Chamber's & their communities, Best Practices Leadership Roundtable meetings, a Government Affiars Roundtable and a two day Institute Program featuring speakers and sessions to promote leadership skills & provide tools to build innovative Chambers.
Last week's Annual Meeting featured an update on Blueprint Virginia from VA Chamber CEO, Barry DuVal, an insightful look at the upcoming election from political analyst, Dr. Bob Holsworth and "Leading Through Uncertainty" with Jim Pourteau, CEO, Executive Coach, Trainer & Speaker.
