Upon arrival, officers found forcible entry had been made into the business. While checking the interior of the building, officers recovered items believed to belong to the suspect.
The K9 tracking team was called out and K9 “Jolene” was able to locate and follow the path of the suspect. Further investigation led to the arrest of Matthew Adam Bowen 34 of 1467 Carrsville Highway. Bowen was charged with burglary and third offense larceny, he was remanded to Western Tidewater Regional Jail without bond.
All of the property stolen was recovered.
