On Friday, Feb. 28, the DFA will be sponsoring a Mardi Gras event at Fred’s Restaurant. At 7:00 pm there will be a buffet of New Orleans style food. During the evening, there will be a game requiring participants to find the King’s stolen Treasure Box. The winner will be awarded a CASH PRIZE. The Queen will award a prize for the best costume. This will be a ticketed event open to the public. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple. Costumes and masks are encouraged. Come dressed as a member of the King’s Court - or whatever you like! Beads, glitter, sequins, and masks are part of the Mardi Gras tradition.
Join in the fun. More details to follow.
